Ardmore Banking Advisors, Inc (“Ardmore”) was founded in 1991 and is staffed by former senior bankers and bank regulators. We provide services to financial institutions across the United States, with concentration in mid-Atlantic community banks. Our services include consulting in credit policy, risk-rating methods, lending best practices, credit-information technology and lending- delivery models, as well as outsourced loan review services. In the last 10 years we have had more than 100 clients, from community banks to super regional.

Since 2003 Ardmore’s Credit Tech group has developed and supported proprietary credit data management services, automation tools and reporting. Assisting community banks to transition from manual Excel based processes to more efficiency and control. We are thought leaders in credit technology for community banks, published and frequent speaker at industry events.

We are seeking a qualified, experienced professional to join our Credit Technology group. Our preferred candidate will have a well-rounded technical skill set and be able to multi-task, think creatively and self-direct and can communicate effectively with management, peers and clients. 


Primary technologies are SQL, MS Reporting services, ASP.net, Webforms, C#.  Good database skills are primary, knowledge of networking also a plus.

Interacts internally with: Senior Management, Credit Technology Staff, Operations Staff, Loan Review Staff

Interacts externally with: Credit Tech Clients and Staff, Loan Review Clients and Staff


Functional Job Description

  • Work with the Credit-Information Experts to develop, implement and support Ardmore’s credit-technology solutions for collecting and optimizing credit data for reporting and analysis.  Current solutions are based on Microsoft (MS) SQL Server data platform and MS Reporting services, and IIS

  • Develop, implement and support reporting using SQL, MS Reporting services, Excel and related applications 

  • Assist with development of new strategies to rapidly implement and effectively support Ardmore’s credit tech solutions

  • Troubleshooting of basic data and database problems

  • Assist in troubleshooting client-created issues related to Ardmore’s technology products and services

  • Act as backup resource for all aspects of Loan Review Operations and technology support 

 

Specific Tasks

  • Assist with Credit Tech Product Installation and Set Up

    • Issues relating to network/server or hosted installation

    • Issues relating to creating and importing data files

  • Assist Credit Technology clients with troubleshooting and respond to calls for support

    • Issues with running the software products per the user and admin guides

    • Issues related to update jobs

    • Issues related to errors in error logs

  • Assist Ardmore Management with Credit Tech product innovation and enhancements

    • Assist in the design of new modules and enhancements

    • Develop new modules and enhancements as directed

    • Develop reports and views as directed

Technical skills and experience:

  • Minimum five years of experience developing extract, transform, and load procedures for relational databases and/or developing reports from relational databases required

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2014, and Reporting Services is required

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and assist business users with report development from relational data marts

  • Working knowledge of IIS, ASP.net, Webforms, C#, Visual Studio

  • Experience developing system requirement specifications and database sizing estimates

Interpersonal skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability communicate effectively with management, peers and clients

  • Experience in Financial Services desired

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask

  • Self-starter with minimal need for daily supervision
